Nintendo Japan has revealed via its twitter stream that, during tomorrow’s Nintendo Direct press conference events, the pricing and launch date will be revealed for the Nintendo Wii U.<\/p>\n
The Japanese online press event <\/a>can be watched live at 10AM (SAST), 13 September. There are US and European events scheduled for later in the day, kicking off at 4PM (SAST), which can also be viewed live<\/a>.<\/p>\n Various rumours over the months have pegged the Wii U at prices between \u00a3199 – \u00a3250, and US$250 – US$350. It will be interesting see if any of the rumours hit the mark.<\/p>\n The Wii U is the next-generation console from Nintendo, which builds on its successful Wii product line by offering full backwards compatibility with controllers, games, and services.
