Halo fans look to be occupied for the next decade or so, as Microsoft has picked up enough domains to cover several sequels.<\/p>\n
The franchise owner has snapped up the following domains: halo7.net, halo7.org, halo8.org, halo9.net and halo9.org, courtest of MarkMonitor, an internet brand protection company.<\/p>\n
Halo 4\u2019s release has been confirmed for November 6th, and developer 343 industries has said in an interview that it \u201chas a definite story arc in mind\u201d for future sequels Halo 5 and Halo 6.<\/p>\n
The franchise clearly shows no signs of slowing down, and if sales stay consistently high, there\u2019s no reason why it should. Gamers are not yet done with Master Chief.<\/p>\n
Microsoft posted an ad back in July calling for an experienced graphics developer to work on \u201cthe next generation of game visuals in the Halo universe\u201d. It\u2019s entirely possible Halo 4 may be the last Halo game we see on the Xbox 360 platform, as 5 and onwards may be saved for the next generation.<\/p>\n
