At the recent Tokyo Game Show conference, Sony showed off its upcoming motion controller being used in Little Big Planet as well as Resident Evil 5.<\/p>\n
Sony announced that motion control implementation for Little Big Planet would come in the form of a download via PSN, however, Capcom did not give any clue as to how gamers would get hold of the motion controlled version of Resident Evil 5.<\/p>\n
The game’s producer Jun Takeuchi has since explained that the new motion control content will be “too big to be DLC”, and Capcom will therefore release Resident Evil 5: Alternative Edition next year which will feature full motion control support.<\/p>\n
The Alternative Edition will include a new 2 hour scenario.<\/p>\n
Takeuchi also said that the Xbox 360 would be getting something as well, and that the new content would be prepared “in a different form” – Project Natal, anyone?<\/p>\n
As for now, we know that Resident Evil 5: Alternative Edition will be released in March 2010 along with Sony’s Motion Control device.<\/p>\n
