LanGames TV Launches at rAge 2009<\/strong><\/p>\nWatch live coverage of rAge 2009 where LanGames will launch a full broadcast channel that is aimed at the technologically inclined community. The content will be centred on technology, gadgets and media and is aiming for a very broad demographic age ranging from as young as 14 up to 55.<\/p>\n
The original broadcast will take on three formats:<\/p>\n
• A webcast format which will be accessible from any browser connected to the internet.<\/p>\n

Players will do a 1 vs 1 battle in Guitar Hero: World Tour on Xbox 360 for a chance to compete against the winners from 72 other countries in the World Cyber Games Grand Finals taking place in Chengdu, China from 11-15 November 2009.<\/p>\n

Arena 77 Quake 3 Tournament <\/strong><\/p>\nArena 77, in conjunction with Intel, Sapphire and ATI will be hosting a Quake 3 tournament at rAge 2009. The tournament format will comprise of a random draw 1v1 single elimination competition with prizes worth over R100 000 up for grabs. Winners up to 15th place will be eligible for part of the prize pot. The tournament will take place on stage (stand K) and will be played on high-end sponsored PC’s.<\/p>\n
The winner will be flown to Sweden to compete in the Dreamhack Quake Live competition.<\/p>\n
