<\/em><\/strong>As EA prepares to drop its anticipated Medal of Honor follow-up to the 2010 reboot, a financial analyst believes that the game will not live up to its sales expectations.<\/p>\n

\u201cMedal of Honor: Warfighter appears likely to be a major disappointment,\u201d said analyst Doug Creutz of Cowen and Company.<\/p>\n

Creutz goes on to say that the expectations of 3-4 million units from EA is way too high, and that the game will \u201cstruggle\u201d to reach 2 million worldwide sales.<\/p>\n

Creutz also noted that EA apparently declined to send review copies of Medal of Honor to critics ahead of the game’s release, meaning that reviews won\u2019t appear before the game is already on store shelves.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe decision to make early review copies unavailable does not suggest to us that the company has a high degree of confidence in the quality of the game,\u201d explained Creutz.<\/p>\n

Medal of Honor: Warfighter is being developed by Danger Close and is scheduled for a 25 October 2012 release.<\/p>\n
