Relic has announced that its “Last Stand” update will be released tomorrow. The update will introduce new content, including new multiplayer maps and a new multiplayer mode. It will also introduce some balance fixes. <\/p>\n
The update will bring the game up to v1.8.<\/p>\n
The new multiplayer mode to be introduced is called The Last Stand, and it will be a survival mode. A new two player map and a new four player map will also be introduced.<\/p>\n
Patch notes <\/strong><\/p>\n New Content<\/strong><\/p>\n • The Last Stand<\/p>\n • Added The Last Stand, a new arcade survival mode where teams of three fight waves of increasingly deadly enemies<\/p>\n • Added new unique wargear, abilities and effects to the three heroes in The Last Stand<\/p>\n • Added The Last Stand leaderboards<\/p>\n • Hero progress is stored online and is associated with a player’s gamertag<\/p>\n Multiplayer Maps<\/p>\n • Added (2p) Quest’s Heresy map<\/p>\n • Added (4p) Hydris Chasm map<\/p>\n Multiplayer Balance Updates<\/p>\n General Balance updates<\/p>\n • The cost of the tier 3 upgrade is now 300 requisition, 150 power up from 200\/100<\/p>\n • XP granted for Hormagaunts, Termagants, Sluggas, and Shootas has been brought in line with other tier 1 units<\/p>\n • Flame resistant armor type has been lowered to 25% fire damage mitigation, down from 50%<\/p>\n • Generator health has been increased to 600 from 500, a 20% increase<\/p>\n • All walkers except the Wraithlord had their speed increased from 4 to 4.5 m\/s<\/p>\n • All personal teleport abilities now start on cooldown<\/p>\n • Walker charge cooldowns reduced from 8 seconds to 5<\/p>\n • Snipe damage now does 125% to heavy armor<\/p>\n • Melee heroes have had their weapon skill increased to 70 from 60. This will increase their chance to special attack units and reduce their chance of being special attacked.
