{"id":4691,"date":"2009-10-23T12:40:00","date_gmt":"2009-10-23T10:40:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"-0001-11-29T22:00:00","slug":"operation-flashpoint-dragon-rising-patch-and-dlc-planned","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/business\/4691-operation-flashpoint-dragon-rising-patch-and-dlc-planned","title":{"rendered":"Operation Flashpoint: Dragon rising patch and DLC planned"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising developers Codemasters announced today that a game patch and additional DLC content would be released towards the end of October.<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/articles\/opflash-dragon-rising-dlc-this-month \" target=\"_blank\">Eurogamer<\/a> the patch will introduce network &ldquo;optimisation to make it flow better&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Our intention is to align [the patch] with the first DLC pack that&#8217;s coming out as well, which is due around the end of October. Hopefully we&#8217;ll do the whole thing in one.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s quite open-ended,&#8221; added Codemasters Producer Sion Lenton, &#8220;it&#8217;s not a lot of fuss for us to make new content &#8211; it&#8217;s actually quite easy for us to get it out there, with regards to things like levels, game modes, etc.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The other thing we actually like to look at is getting some new equipment in there as well.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The patch will also address issues regarding vehicle balance within the game.
