{"id":4722,"date":"2009-10-29T10:05:00","date_gmt":"2009-10-29T08:05:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"-0001-11-29T22:00:00","slug":"gamers-petition-for-agasa-tv-show","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/business\/4722-gamers-petition-for-agasa-tv-show","title":{"rendered":"Gamers petition for AGASA TV show"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Update<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We have since learnt that this petition is actually 3 years old, and has made a resurgence somehow.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Original<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In an unexpected turn of events, a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.petitiononline.com\/agasa\/petition.html\" target=\"_blank\">petition <\/a>has been spotted by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pantheongaming.co.za\/?q=node\/800\" target=\"_blank\">Pantheon Gaming<\/a> lobbying for an AGASA television show. A segment of the local competitive gaming community want to watch a show, or alternatively an entire TV channel dedicated to broadcasting competitive AGASA matches.<\/p>\n<p>The petition appears as follows:<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;To:&nbsp; Broadcasting companies and sponsors <br \/>This is a petition for a TV-channel or show dedicated to AGASA matches. <\/p>\n<p>We want our own local show\\channel that broadcasts AGASA premier and school league matches. <\/p>\n<p>It is an excellent idea and we want to show the sponsors just how much interest South Africa has in gaming.
