Nobody knows yet what’s inside the cube, but what’s on the cube is another thing altogether – or, more properly perhaps, a whole lot of things. You know, things<\/em>. In scientific terms, ba-donk-a-donks. Love rockets. Bed snakes. Meat bats. One-eyed nightcrawlers.<\/p>\n

Within moments of Peter Molyneux’s Curiosity: What’s Inside the Cube? going live on iOS two weeks back, the cube’s face had already been de<\/em>faced with graven images of bacon bazookas – a trend that shows no sign of stopping any time soon.<\/p>\n

“Far and away, the most number of single pictures have been penises,\u201d Molyneux told attendees at the Montreal International Game Summit yesterday, shocking absolutely nobody.<\/p>\n

Along with the (inevitable) influx of fandangled mandanglers, however, was an unexpectedly – and overwhelmingly – huge response to the game.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy assumption was that a few thousand people would start tapping away at the cube,\u201d Molyneux said. Instead, the game attracted 50,000 players within just three hours of launch, and now sees around 300,000 players every day. Almost 2 million people have tapped the cube to date, removing about half a billion cubelets. That’s just another 59.5 billion cubelets or so to go then until the big reveal – which might as well be a penis, because that’s obviously what everybody wants to see anyway.<\/p>\n
