Beyonc\u00e9 Knowles is facing a $100 million lawsuit after failing to\u00a0fulfill\u00a0a contract to feature in a video game.<\/p>\n
The Bootylicious singer was reportedly onboard to make a dancing video game, Starpower: Beyonc\u00e9, with New York company Gate Five.<\/p>\n
Knowles walked away from the commitment and was accused of “a bad faith breach of contract\u201d which \u201cdestroyed Gate Five’s business and drove 70 people into unemployment, the week before Christmas”.<\/p>\n
Beyonc\u00e9\u2019s rebuttle is that the singer never got a necessary $5 million financing commitment from Gate Five to follow through with the deal.<\/p>\n
The initial lawsuit<\/a> began last April, when Gate Five issued Beyonc\u00e9 first butted heads over the broken agreement.<\/p>\n According to Gate Five, the studio had developed technology that was superior to that of other motion-driven games on the market.
