EA might have a somewhat poor reputation among some gamers because [whatever gamers are complaining about EA this week], but when it comes to equality, the publisher gets double high-fives from the Human Rights Campaign – and that’s probably more important to the human race than Online Passes or weapon balance in Battlefield 3.<\/p>\n
According to the HRC’s corporate equality index<\/a>, EA\u00a0is officially one of the best places for work in America in terms of LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender) employment equality.<\/p>\n \u201cI am very pleased that EA has scored a 100% rating and been recognised by the Human Rights Campaign in a year where the company has taken significant steps to remain inclusive,\u201d EA’s chief talent officer Gabrielle Toledano wrote on the company blog<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cEA has made changes to our medical benefits, been involved in LGBT events in our community and taken a public stance against the Defense of Marriage Act.
