The Apple App store is known to be home of a lot of clones and imitation games, but there are some releases that are so blatantly similar that it\u2019s borderline criminal.<\/p>\n
One game in particular, 3D Cartoon Land: Safari, may have a relatively original name, but that\u2019s where it ends.<\/p>\n
3D Cartoon Land: Safari is described as a \u201cunique game\u201d in which you \u201cquickly jump over obstacles and collect coins\u201d \u2013 its also a mind-blowing rip-off of Mario\u2019s 3DS adventure, Super Mario Land 3D.<\/p>\n
Be careful though, as the game\u2019s developer Jiang Zhi warns: \u201cAn angry tortoise could bite you\u201d.<\/p>\n
Maybe we\u2019re jumping the gun and the game is actually pretty good. Louie82y played some 3D Cartoon Land: Safari, and wrote a customer review:<\/p>\n

We hate to label War Z, because the fact of the matter is that it looks pretty damn cool and we\u2019ll definitely play it; but there\u2019s no denying where it got its inspiration.<\/p>\n The sudden boom that is the ARMA 2 mod DayZ exceeded the expectations of the game\u2019s own creator, and the guys behind War Z saw this and jumped on that flesh-decaying bandwagon.<\/p>\n The War Z devs were probably also pretty\u00a0embarrassed\u00a0when it was revealed that they had copy-pasted the League of Legends terms of use agreement, without even changing the text.<\/p>\n As seen with Adventurer, Uncharted seems to be a game that \u201cinspires\u201d a lot of developers.<\/p>\n Unearthed : Trail of Ibn Buttuta is another example of this, as this Arabic-developed adventure game shares an uncanny resemblance to that of Nathan Drake\u2019s adventures.<\/p>\n Unearthed has everything you\u2019d expect from an Uncharted game \u2013 fighting, shooting, platforming and stealth, albeit with a little more facial hair and sketchy animations.<\/p>\n Armed Heroes Online didn\u2019t even try and add a goatee or Arabic accent to any of its characters, as the developers practically ripped the character assets straight from Runic Games\u2019 RPG Torchlight.<\/p>\n After being accused of theft, the Armed Heroes Online developer denied stealing art assets from Torchlight, when it\u2019s totally obvious to everybody that they did.<\/p>\n She never explained why the game\u2019s sound files are exactly the same as Torchlight\u2019s<\/a>, including the misspellings, though.<\/p>\n Best explosions in gaming<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n 5 Kickstarter game projects doomed to fail<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n Movember \u2013 best moustaches in gaming<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n Toxic Bunny: help SA devs on Steam Greenlight<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\nWar Z<\/h3>\n
