A student has managed to land his dream job of managing a professional football club, due to his experience with the Football Manager game series. And mom told you playing games wouldn’t get you anywhere!<\/p>\n

Vugar Huseynzade, 21, is now the manager of Azerbaijani Premier League club FK Baku’s A side, after the club was impressed with his knowledge and management skills shown in the video game.<\/p>\n

“I’ve always wanted to work in football and have played Football Manager since 2002,” Huseynzade told Scandinavian newspaper Aftonbladet.<\/p>\n

Huseynzade isn\u2019t completely inexperienced in the real-world though, as he has a Business Management degree from Boston University, and has done some work in a US-based sports agency.<\/p>\n

The 21-year old was said to have even been preferred to former Marseille and France legend Jean-Pierre Papin.<\/p>\n
