Razer has partnered with Corex in a new distribution deal to bring top-tier gaming goodies to South Africa.<\/p>\n
Corex will be the official distributor of Razer products throughout the country – Razer\u2019s products include gaming mice, keyboards, headsets, mouse surfaces and accessories.<\/p>\n
\u201cRazer entered the South African market in 2007, supporting gamers from the onset and helping grow the gaming industry generally. We are working exclusively with Corex to service the distribution of our products to our retailers and customers to ensure seamless supply to the SA market,\u201d said Thomas Buck, Razer Regional Sales Manager for Europe.<\/p>\n
Despite global economic challenges in other markets, the gaming industry in South Africa continues to expand, with year-on-year growth over the past several years. South Africa\u2019s video gaming market is currently worth R1.72 billion, according to local market research company, the GFK Group.<\/p>\n
“Gaming is becoming more and more popular in South Africa and we are committed to assuring that gamers will have access to the phenomenal high-performance gaming\u00a0products of Razer,\u201d said Buck.<\/p>\n
