Valve has gone live with the beta of the Steam Community Market.<\/p>\n
The public beta of the service allows for the community to buy and sell in-game items for Steam Wallet funds.<\/p>\n
The only game which has items tradable is Team Fortress 2, for now. Valve says that more games will be added in 2013.<\/p>\n
Buyers will also have to pay a 5% \u201cSteam Transaction Fee\u201d on each item bought, as a way for Valve guard against fraud and cover the cost of the Market\u2019s continuing development.<\/p>\n
