THQ and Relic Entertainment have released a new gameplay trailer for Company of Heroes 2 – revealing some scenes from the game’s multiplayer modes.<\/p>\n
Company of Heroes 2 takes us back to the harrowing setting of World War 2. The familiar Company of Heroes gameplay mechanics return, but the sequel takes a tour of duty on the bitter Eastern front of the war in 1941, where some of history\u2019s most brutal and devastating conflicts took place.<\/p>\n
Players will take command of the Soviet Red Army as Nazi Germany launches a full-scale invasion across the frozen tundra of the Soviet Union \u2013 a war which would result in over 14 million military casualties.<\/p>\n
A full-featured online multiplayer component is obviously a core component of any modern RTS, and Relic promises to deliver both competitive and co-op modes. This is one area that I\u2019m hoping Relic have learned from Company of Heroes Online, as well as CoH 1 which used the frustrating \u201cRelic Online\u201d match-making service.<\/p>\n
