2013 had better bring the much-needed GTA V fix, as gaming\u2019s most notorious series is making its long-awaited return next year.<\/p>\n
The next game will be set in the fictional city of Los Santos, which will be modelled around Los Angeles, California. GTA V will feature unparalleled open-world freedom, and three primary protagonists, who will team up for a number of big-name heists that are sure to bring the action.<\/p>\n
Check out more Grand Theft Auto V coverage<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n After some ups and downs, everyone\u2019s favourite treasure hunter is set to make a comeback, as Lara Croft is getting her much-needed reboot in 2013.<\/p>\n The reboot is set to put a 21 year-old Lara in the fight of her life as she is shipwrecked on an unknown island, forced to deal with excruciating emotional and physical pain to survive.<\/p>\n Taking more of an Uncharted-esque approach, Tomb Raider should ignite 2013 with a new cinematic journey for Ms. Croft.<\/p>\n Check out more Tomb Raider coverage<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n If Valentine\u2019s day isn\u2019t making February 2013 scary enough for you, then prepare your adult diapers, because Dead Space 3 is heading for a\u00a0European release on February 8, 2013.<\/p>\n Dead Space 3 isn\u2019t as lonely as the previous titles were, as the third iteration introduces some gnarly co-op play, so you get to share the scares with a friend. But don\u2019t make the mistake of thinking the game will be any less terrifying.<\/p>\n While the game has supposedly shifted away from survival-horror and the crushing sense of claustraphobia to a more action-oriented shoot-fest with a friend, series developer Visceral Games is promising all-new Necromorphs, gigantic boss creatures, and even misguided zealot humans.<\/p>\n The Last of Us takes place in a post-apocalyptic setting, following a viral outbreak which wiped out most of humanity.<\/p>\n The world is now an overgrown mess as nature reclaims the land. Players will take on the role of Joel, as he has to escort a young girl named Ellie to a particular quarantined zone.<\/p>\n Both characters will come into play, allowing Joel to command and assist Ellie in helping the two on their journey.<\/p>\n Developed by Naughty Dog<\/a> (Uncharted series), The Last of Us also features gorgeous visuals \u2013 something that the studio is known for.
