Id Software\u2019s all-but-forgotten FPS RAGE is getting DLC. The post-apocalyptic FPS game rode in to stores in 2011on a steam train of hype, but was received with mixed feelings from critics and fans alike; coupled with a bug-ridden and rocky release.<\/p>\n
Now, a year after the game\u2019s release, a DLC pack titled \u201cScorchers\u201d is being released, with none of the fanfare of the original game. For a price tag of only $4,99 however, players seem to be getting a fair bit for their money.<\/p>\n
Here\u2019s the official description from Bethesda:<\/p>\n
\u201cBattle an all-new maniacal bandit clan, wreak havoc with new brutally efficient weapons and explore undiscovered areas in RAGE\u2019s new official add-on pack, RAGE: The Scorchers\u2122. Fight alongside new allies to thwart the Scorcher clan\u2019s deadly plot to destroy the Wasteland. The add-on pack also includes \u2018Ultra-Nightmare\u2019, a new high difficulty mode, as well as an \u2018Extended Play\u2019 option that allows you to play past the original ending of the game \u2013 giving you the opportunity to finish collecting items and achievements.\u201d<\/p>\n
Scorchers arrives this coming Tuesday.<\/p>\n
