Wargaming,net\u2019s World of Tanks has been quietly raking in millions of players over the course of 2012 \u2013 this often overlooked game has a staggering 45 million registered players and has set the record for simultaneous users \u2013 600,000 on a Russian server.<\/p>\n

Wargaming\u2019s next title, the slightly unoriginally-titled World of Warplanes is currently in closed beta while the developer also works on World of Warships. The eventual goal is to have all three games linked under a single platform with a common economic system.<\/p>\n
Wargaming is no small indie \u2013 it boasts over 1300 staff across 11 offices in Europe, the US, Asia and Australia \u2013 it\u2019s also just signed with KongZhong Corporation for expansion into China.<\/p>\n
The tank-based MMO has had a very healthy 2012, and you can bet it\u2019ll continue strong into 2013.<\/p>\n
