While the game&#8217;s critical reception has not been quite as positive as its commercial achievements, it is still considered by most to be an excellent game.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, its so good that, according to <a href=\"http:\/\/technology.timesonline.co.uk\/tol\/news\/tech_and_web\/gadgets_and_gaming\/article6917329.ece?token=null&amp;offset=0&amp;page=1\" target=\"_blank\">The Times<\/a> a 48 year old district judge from the UK has a admitted staying up all night playing the game, and being so tired the next morning that he called in sick.<\/p>\n<p>Modern Warfare 2 sold over 8 million copies worldwide in its launch week, and grossed over $550-million worldwide. Both console versions maintain an impressive Metacritic score of 94\/100.
