We\u2019ve already lined up some of the most anticipated games<\/a> heading our way this year, but what about those ones we\u2019re still hoping to be announced?<\/p>\n

DOOM 4<\/h3>\n

One of the most beloved franchises of all time has been absent from the gaming scene in the last few years. Doom 4 will inevitably make its appearance sometime, and we know this game is lurking in the shadows, waiting for the perfect time to pounce on its victims. 2013 could be the year.<\/p>\n

Mirror\u2019s Edge 2<\/h3>\n

It\u2019s no secret now that a Mirror\u2019s Edge sequel is in the works. A tweet from Swedish dev Ben Cousins<\/a> let the cat out of the bag, although we\u2019re always sceptical.<\/p>\n

An official announcement from DICE will ease our minds konwing that more ultra-white first-person platforming is heading our way.<\/p>\n

InFamous 3<\/h3>\n

Sucker Punch\u2019s InFamous came out of nowhere and shocked everyone with its grounded superhero story and immersive city. The sequel amped everything up to another level, and (depending on your ending in InFamous 2) a third game is desperately needed.<\/p>\n

Metal Gear Solid 5<\/h3>\n

While Konami is busy with Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes and the suspiciously Metal Gear-ish looking The Phantom Pain, what we really want is a fully-fledged sequel.<\/p>\n

A Metal Gear Solid 5<\/a> announcement would be everything MGS fans want to hear, and giving us a bit more time with Old Snake will keep us happy, for a bit.<\/p>\n

Super Mario Galaxy 3<\/h3>\n

Super Mario Galaxy and its sequel are two of the best games in the last ten years, and an HD follow-up on the Wii U will be nothing short of phenomenal.<\/p>\n

The implementation of the Wii U GamePad will also work wonders with the 3D planet platforming found in the series.<\/p>\n
