The extremes some will go to use the internet have hit an all-time high, as a California teen (and accomplice) spiked her parents’ milkshakes in order to get around their internet curfew.<\/p>\n

The two teens (16 and 15 years old) went out to get a round of milkshakes for their folks, only to pop some sleeping pills into the shakes.<\/p>\n

Apparently, the parents realised something was fishy with the milkshakes, although, they had drank too much at that point.<\/p>\n

The parents woke up the next morning with hangover-like symptoms, and after testing themselves, found that they had been drugged.<\/p>\n

The two girls have been arrested and charged with conspiracy and mixing a pharmaceutical into food, while an investigation into the incident is on-going.<\/p>\n

To put a cherry on top of the whole debacle, a child therapist also chimed in on the girls\u2019 actions, adding the profound statement that drugging one\u2019s parents “would not be a healthy level of rebellion”.<\/p>\n
