After THQ\u2019s empty piggy bank was smashed on the floor, a number of other publishers are rumoured to be looking at picking up the pieces, but Electronic Arts (EA) is now a leading contender.<\/p>\n
Distressed Debt Investing tweeted<\/a> that EA is a \u201cpotential buyer of certain titles\u201d and has \u201ccompleted site visits\u201d of THQ.<\/p>\n EA are said to be in contention with Ubisoft and Warner Bros. for THQ\u2019s properties.<\/p>\n Ubisoft chairman and CEO Yves Guillemot expressed his interest in THQ\u2019s involuntary yard sale.<\/p>\n “They have good things. We are always interested in good brands.
