ASUS ROG has revealed their fastest and most powerful graphics card currently available in the form of the limited edition ARES II.<\/p>\n

The ARES II will hit the market as a limited edition product, with only 1,000 units produced. It ships in a special ROG-themed case, with each card featuring a laser-etched serial number on the aluminum backplate to denote its collectible status.<\/p>\n

The card packs dual-HD 7970 GHz Edition GPUs and 6GB GDDR5, and boasts a new heat dissipation hybrid thermal design that includes liquid and air cooling.<\/p>\n

The ARES II fits within a 2-slot height and uses ASUS DIGI+ VRM and Super Alloy Power technologies stability and product longevity. The bundled ROG Edition GPU Tweak utility gives customers overclocking and tuning functions.<\/p>\n

ARES II is a card of the 28nm generation and with its generous video memory it supports resolutions higher than 1080p, such as WQHD, 2560 x 1440, and 2560 x 1600.<\/p>\n

Availability and pricing information will be announced closer to the launch of the product and we await ASUS SA to inform us on whether or not we’ll be seeing this limited edition product on our shores.<\/p>\n
