Blizzard has answered fans and has added the ability to change your StarCraft name, by adding a new free name change to all player accounts.<\/p>\n
The developer is also aiming to add another free name change when the new Clans feature goes live within the \u201cnext couple of months\u201d.<\/p>\n
So if you\u2019d like to change your name, log in to your account management settings and go to your Starcraft II account and a “Character Name Change” button should be available.<\/p>\n
Blizzard also apologised for the delay of the feature.<\/p>\n
“We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience that the lack of name change options has caused anyone. We\u2019ve definitely heard your passion for this subject, and we should have more information about a Paid Character Name Change feature shortly after the release of Heart of the Swarm,” said Blizzard.<\/p>\n
In the meantime, continue waiting patiently for Starcraft 2\u2019s expansion, Heart of the Swarm, which arrives on 12 March 2013.<\/p>\n
