Microsoft has added a region switching feature to Xbox Live, which allows users to migrate their accounts from one country\u2019s service to another.<\/p>\n
Migrating to a different region will still allow users to keep their Gamerscore, Achievements, Microsoft Points and remaining time on a Gold membership (if you currently have one).<\/p>\n
Even though you can switch to a new region, you may still find specific apps, subscriptions and content blocked, due to “legal obligations or regional restrictions.”<\/p>\n
Microsoft also warned users to download any purchased content before switching accounts.<\/p>\n
“Before you change your region, make sure you’ve downloaded any purchased content you want to keep, like movies or music. Content purchases aren’t refundable,\u201d said Microsoft.<\/p>\n
The ability to switch regions is also limited to once every three months.<\/p>\n
