WebAfrica’s 2013 goals include a revised focus on the competitive gaming scene in South Africa and continuing to deliver services to SA gamers.<\/p>\n
Speaking with WAGE Games Master Robert Tait, MyGaming asked what WebAfrica may have in the works for hungry local gamers.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019re planning on becoming more involved in the local competitive scene and would like to contribute to local leagues, tournaments and competitions in an effort to encourage e-sports and competitive gaming,\u201d said Tait.<\/p>\n
Tait emphasised that WebAfrica\u2019s focus will lie on clans and competitive-based gaming communities.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe do expect to be able to provide game servers for newly released game titles shortly; however, we\u2019re not able to say at this stage what we may be able to bring to the table.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cWe will most certainly let the community know as we move further into the first quarter,\u201d added Tait.<\/p>\n
Tait also said that the goal at WebAfrica is to maintain the services WebAfrica currently offers, and keep delivering to SA gamers.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe will continue our quest to provide gamers with what they want, locally.\u201d<\/p>\n
