Dice’s Gordan Van Dyk has announced the system requirements for the upcoming multiplayer-centric shooters Battlefield Bad Company 2 and Battlefield 1943.<\/p>\n

The console version of Battlefield 1943 has already been released, but PC gamers will have to wait until January next year.<\/p>\n

Bad Company 2 is expected to be released in March 2010, and since the abandonment of dedicated servers by Infinity Ward, many competitive gamers are anticipating it as the next big thing.<\/p>\n

Both games will run on the Frostbite engine, and share the same PC requirements.<\/p>\n

Minimum Frostbite PC Specifications for BFBC2 & BF1943<\/strong><\/p>\n

• Processor: Core 2 Duo @ 2.0GHz
• Main memory: 2GB
• Graphics card: GeForce 7800 GT \/ ATI X1900
• Graphics memory: 256MB

• Free HDD space: 15GB for Digital Version, 10GB for Disc Version (BFBC2); 10GB for Digital Version, 4GB for Disc Version (BF1943)
