Mweb GameZone is looking to bring a wider range of game servers, new e-Sport offerings, and launch events for the SA gaming community.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe team have already initiated some high-level discussions with a number of top publishers with a view of securing local servers for South African gamers,\u201d said Mweb\u2019s online gaming manager Desmond Kurz, also explaining that Mweb will be adding new game server titles for rental from Mweb\u2019s partner\u2019s \u2013 GameServers.com and Multiplay.co.uk.<\/p>\n
Kurz also expressed that there will be an \u201cincreased emphasis on competitive gaming and eSports\u201d in 2013, as well as furthering the \u201cGamers in Beta online training program for beginners wanting to learn the ropes of playing competitively.\u201d<\/p>\n
Game launch events have been a staple of Mweb over recent years, and Kurz assures local gamers that more events are ahead.<\/p>\n
\u201cWith some big titles heading our way in 2013, we are sure to have a busy events schedule. It\u2019s also likely that we will also look for opportunities to host events in more centres around the country.\u201d<\/p>\n
