This includes the company&#8217;s development studios, licenses and intellectual property.<\/p>\n<p>Below is the list of auction bids won, as reported by Joystiq.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Relic (studio) and Company of Heroes (IP)<\/strong><br \/>\nWinning bid: $26.6 million &#8211; Sega Corporation<br \/>\nBackup bidder: $26.3 million &#8211; Zenimax Media<\/p>\n<p><strong>THQ Montreal (studio), with 1666 (IP) and Underdog (IP)<\/strong><br \/>\nWinning bid: $2.5 million &#8211; Ubisoft<br \/>\nBackup bidder: N\/A<\/p>\n<p><strong>Evolve (IP) aka Metamorphosis<\/strong><br \/>\nWinning bid: $10.894 million &#8211; Take-Two Interactive<br \/>\nBackup bidder: $250,000 Turtle Rock Studios, Inc.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Volition (studio) and Saints Row (IP)<\/strong><br \/>\nWinning bid: $22.3 million &#8211; Koch Media GmbH (Deep Silver)<br \/>\nBackup bidder: $5.4 million &#8211; Ubisoft<\/p>\n<p><strong>Homefront (IP)<\/strong><br \/>\nWinning bid: $544,218 &#8211; Crytek GmbH<br \/>\nBackup bidder: N\/A<\/p>\n<p><strong>Metro (license), which includes 2033 and 2034<\/strong><br \/>\nWinning bid: $5,877,551 &#8211; Koch Media GmbH (Deep Silver)<br \/>\nBackup bidder: $5.175 million &#8211; Ubisoft<\/p>\n<p><strong>South Park: The Stick of Truth (license)<\/strong><br \/>\nWinning bid: $3,265,306 &#8211; Ubisoft<br \/>\nBackup bidder: N\/A<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>THQ properties not included in the sale, such as Vigil Games and the Darksiders IP, will &#8220;remain part of the chapter 11 case,&#8221; and THQ will continue to look for a buyer, reported Kotaku citing a letter sent to THQ employees.<\/p>\n<p>Do you think these purchases bode well for the respective gaming franchises?
