Telkom announced on 24 January 2013 that it will reduce its consumer uncapped ADSL products by up to 40% and will cut the price of its business uncapped products by up to 35%.<\/p>\n

This price cut follows the recent announcement from Telkom that its capped customers who reach their internet cap will no longer be limited to local data. In future they will now also be able to access international sites \u2013 albeit at a slower speed.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur focus remains on maintaining a quality experience whilst also exploring new and innovative ways to deliver even more value to our customers,\u201d said Manelisa Mavuso, managing director of Telkom Consumer Services and Retail.<\/p>\n

He pointed to the removal of day-time restrictions on consumer products as a prime example of enhanced customer value.<\/p>\n

Brian Armstrong, managing director of Telkom Business, added that their Internet products for business customers now offer improved performance for business traffic.<\/p>\n

He highlighted that the value added services on business uncapped offers have been improved. More advanced business features are planned for the coming months.<\/p>\n

The new pricing benefits new and existing customers.<\/p>\n
