Telkom<\/a> announced on 24 January 2013 that it will reduce its consumer uncapped ADSL<\/a> products by up to 40%. These price cuts will apply to both standalone and bundled ADSL products.<\/p>\n

This moved sparked response from consumers and competing ISPs alike.<\/p>\n

Openweb has responded with price cuts on its Vanilla Uncapped, with new uncapped rates starting at R89 per month for an uncapped 384kbps connection.<\/p>\n

MWEB<\/a> is introducing new throttled uncapped ADSL<\/a> products which will be available from 1 February 2013. MWEB\u2019s new \u201cup to 2Mbps\u201d and \u201cup to 4Mbps\u201d Data Only and Data plus ADSL line offerings will be R10 cheaper than Telkom\u2019s new prices.<\/p>\n

MWEB\u2019s 1Mbps Premium Uncapped ADSL pricing remains unchanged at R199 per month for data only and R339 per month for data plus an ADSL line (ADSL access).<\/p>\n

The pricing shuffle in the uncapped ADSL space means that a new pricing comparison is warranted. The table below lists a number of uncapped ADSL offers (monthly pricing) from a range of ISPs.<\/p>\n
