That’s before the PC version even comes out, which is kind of a bonus because it means PC gamers won’t have to wait around like everyone else.

Anyway, the Battle of Forli and Bonfire of the Vanities DLC packs will be filling in those annoying bits of nothing passed off as corrupted memory in Ezio’s DNA sequence, which sounds suspiciously like stuff yanked out of the game and released later to extort more cash out of gamers.

The Battle of Forli includes six new memories involving Ezio’s (mis)adventures with Machiavelli and Caterina Sforza, defending the wretched town of Forli from those dastardly Orsi brothers, and another jaunt in Leonardo’s devil flying machine. Elsewhere, the Templars are again up to their own special brand of villainy, and Ezio’s off to prevent another Piece of Eden from landing in their no-good hands. Oh, it’s just one hilarious conspiracy after another with these guys.

Then the Bonfire of the Vanities rolls out ten new memories, and opens up a new part of Florence, where Ezio can run about and show off his brand new spring-jump manoeuvre while liberating the place from the tyranny of the mad monk Saconarola.

Pricing details have the first pack at $3.99 and the second at $4.99, although what this works out to on the Xbox Live Marketplace and PlayStation Network remains to be seen.

[2

post-5036","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-business
["GET
