Ubisoft has announced that Rayman Legends will be going multiplatform, as the colourful platformer will be making its way to Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe heard from many Xbox & Playstation owners and Rayman fans who told us they really wanted to play Rayman Legends on their current system\u201d, says Geoffroy Sardin, EMEA Chief Marketing & Sales Officer.\u201d We decided to give the fans what they wanted.\u201d<\/p>\n

The game, which was initially supposed to be a Wii U exclusive, will arrive on that platform along with Xbox 360 and PS3 in early September 2013.<\/p>\n

The new September release period means that the initial 28 February Wii U release date is being delayed to coincide with the Xbox and PS3 releases.<\/p>\n

On Wii U, the game will utilise the new\u00a0Pro Controller\u00a0and Wii U\u2019s new touch-screen GamePad, as players can manipulate platforms and the environment using touch, along with a special character created purely to use the functionality of the Wii U GamePad.<\/p>\n
