{"id":50501,"date":"2013-02-12T11:02:08","date_gmt":"2013-02-12T09:02:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/?p=50501"},"modified":"2013-02-12T11:21:16","modified_gmt":"2013-02-12T09:21:16","slug":"gears-of-war-3-sa-grand-finale-tournament-announced","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/business\/50501-gears-of-war-3-sa-grand-finale-tournament-announced","title":{"rendered":"Gears of War 3 \u2013 SA Grand Finale Tournament announced"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>South African gaming clan CMR and El33tonline have announced a new Gears of War 3 tournament to bring fans of chainsaw bayonets and curb-stomping together.<\/p>\n<p>The Gears of War Grand Finale Tournament will encompass 4v4 matches of Execution and King of the Hill, and will run for two weeks (4-16 March 2013), with matches taking place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.<\/p>\n<p>There will be video coverage f the tournament via <a title=\"CMR\" href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/users\/CMRZA\" target=\"_blank\">CMR\u2019s YouTube channel<\/a>. Matches will be uploaded, however, live streaming will take place if possible.<\/p>\n<p>There are some prominent Gear 3 clans already signed up, but if you want to get involved and get your team into the action, submit your 4-man team (and 1 sub) via <a title=\"CMR\" href=\"http:\/\/clancmr.co.za\/contact\/\" target=\"_blank\">CMR\u2019s contact page<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Summary of Details:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Date: 04 &#8211; 16 March 2013<\/li>\n<li>Format: Groups &amp; Single Elimination<\/li>\n<li>Teams: 4v4<\/li>\n<li>Registration: Maximum of 5 members per team (4+1 reserve) Please indicate who will be captain as well as a contact email address.
