Naughty Dog has announced that its impressive-looking horror\/adventure, The Last of Us, will miss its 7 May release date and will instead arrive worldwide on 14 June 2013.<\/p>\n

The delay is said to be due to the game needing a little more time baking in the development oven over at Naughty Dog.<\/p>\n

“As a team we pride ourselves on setting a very high quality bar for every aspect of our games – gameplay, story, art, design, technology and more,” said the developer.<\/p>\n

“We want to make sure The Last of Us raises that bar even further – for ourselves, and most importantly, for our fans.”<\/p>\n

Local Sony distributor, Ster Kinekor Entertainment, confirmed that SA would be getting the special editions of The Last of Us<\/a>, along with prices and options on offer.<\/p>\n
