Spiders Studios, known for the Testament of Sherlock Holmes and Of Orcs and Men, has announced its upcoming sci-fi horror Mars: War Logs, which looks to deliver players to a war-ravaged Mars setting, that\u2019s full of some unpleasant surprises.<\/p>\n

Players will take control of Roy Temperance, a renegade who is thrown into the civil war taking place on the Red Planet, where water has become the most precious resource. Roy, along with his comrades, will have to use their skills and powers to survive the harsh conditions, and harsher enemies, that Mars has to offer.<\/p>\n

The game itself plays out as an action RPG, where you\u2019ll have the option to select a number of skills and perks to help grow your character\u2019s abilities.<\/p>\n

You can craft Roy to be more focused on pure combat, stealth and trickery, or powerful Technomancer powers.<\/p>\n

There is also a crafting system that allows you to create and modify equipment and items found in the game world.<\/p>\n

On top of that, dialogues and interaction choices with characters will have an affect on the story, and inevitably, the outcome of Roy.<\/p>\n

Spiders Studio CEO Jehanne Rousseau has said that the in-game decisions won\u2019t be black and white, and instead will fall into the grey areas or morality, allowing the players to pick for themselves.<\/p>\n

The developer also said that the game would last about 15 hours, which while it may seem short for an RPG, is not bad at all for a downloadable game.<\/p>\n

Mars: War Logs will be released in Spring 2013 on Xbox Live, PlayStation Network and PC.<\/p>\n\n\t\t
