Sony has revealed that its PS Vita will be undergoing a price cut in Japan.<\/p>\n
The price cut applies to both the 3G and Wi-Fi models of the handheld, which will come into effect from 28 February 2013.<\/p>\n
Both models will cost \u00a519,980, which is a significant drop from the original launch price.<\/p>\n
That would equate to around R1,880 (without additional import and duty costs), if of course the price drop reaches the rest of the world.<\/p>\n
This could be a step in the right direction for Sony, as the Vita has been criticised for lacking an extensive game library, with very few titles on the horizon as well.<\/p>\n
