While the Playstation 4 will work with the Move controller, the upcoming console will not support the PS3\u2019s DualShock 3 controllers.<\/p>\n

When asked about the PS4\u2019s possible compatibility with DualShock 3 controller\u2019s, Sony Worldwide Studios\u2019 Shuhei Yoshida simply said \u201cNo, [PS4] doesn\u2019t support DualShock 3.\u201d<\/p>\n

He did add that \u201cit does support PS Move.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sad news for gamers hoping that their PS3 controllers would work; however, it is understandable as the PS4 controller looks to be a vastly different piece of hardware to that of its predecessor.<\/p>\n

Yoshida also mentioned that the PS4 won’t work with PS3 game discs and PSN titles<\/a>.<\/p>\n
