Telkom<\/a> Internet will launch 20Mbps and 40Mbps\u00a0VDSL<\/a>\u00a0broadband products on 4 March 2013, offering both capped and uncapped products.<\/p>\n

As with traditional ADSL services, consumers will have to rent a voice line from Telkom, as well as pay a fee to Telkom for the DSL access portion of the service.<\/p>\n

Telkom has announced their pricing on uncapped VDSL bundle products, which includes the DSL access portion of the service. MWEB has also announced their consumer uncapped pricing.<\/p>\n

We’ve compared the two pricing options to see which of the two currently offers the best deal on consumer-level uncapped VDSL products, including voice line and DSL access costs.<\/p>\n

These high speed products will, for now, be launched in selected areas. The initial rollout will offer these services in Benmore Gardens, Fourways and Waterkloof in Gauteng; Durban North in KwaZulu-Natal; and Durbanville in the Western Cape.<\/p>\n
