The reveal of the PS4 specs has resulted in a lot of developers commenting on the forthcoming console, and a Just Cause dev believes it\u2019ll stand taller than PCs for a good while.<\/p>\n

Speaking with Gaming Bolt, Avalanche\u2019s CTO Linus Blomberg said that the PS4\u2019s power will be ideal for the large environments that the studio loves.<\/p>\n

“We are confident that we’ll bring open-world gaming to a whole new level because of it,\u201d said Blomberg.<\/p>\n

“I’m glad Sony decided to go with 8GB RAM because it means that the PS4 will out-power most PCs for years to come.”<\/p>\n

While Blomberg gushed over the PS4\u2019s technical specs, he also praised its connectivity to the realm of social gaming.<\/p>\n

“The PS4 will not only be a very powerful gaming machine from a hardware perspective, but it will also be a social tool and integrated marketplace more akin to successful mobile devices.”<\/p>\n

In February, Avalance\u2019s CEO Christofer Sundberg also tweeted a mysterious picture<\/a> which appears to be series’ protagonist Rico Rodriguez jumping to or from an air ship of some sorts; igniting rumours that a Just Cause 3 announcement is on its way.<\/p>\n
