A South African developer, Knife Media, has revealed its upcoming title that will arrive in mid-2013.<\/p>\n
Titled RED, the game is a top-down survival shooter that will launch on the Android-powered Ouya console, as well as the iOS platform.<\/p>\n
RED follows Rick Steele, a blocky hero who has to battle mutant hordes that are attacking his city.<\/p>\n
Rick will need to use a variety of weapons and powers to defeat the legions and save the day.<\/p>\n
On top of the action-packed premise, the game will feature \u201csmexy cartoon graphics\u201d, perks, persistent player levelling, unique abilities and local multiplayer.<\/p>\n
Knife Media is an independent game developer in Cape Town, South Africa, who specialise in mobile, desktop and Ouya game development platforms.<\/p>\n
