There\u2019s some news floating around that a GTA 5 beta is on the way and asking gamers to sign up, but don\u2019t, because no such beta has been announced.<\/p>\n

The original updates appeared on a number of websites and Facebook pages, but Rockstar has not confirmed any of the mentioned beta opportunities.<\/p>\n

Websites such as getgtavbeta.com and betagtav.com have been shut down by Take-Two, with cases against gta5betacode.com and grandtheftauto5beta.com currently pending.<\/p>\n

The websites asked users to sign up for early beta access, and then allowed a file to be downloaded. It\u2019s unsure what these files actually are, but they\u2019re definitely not GTA V beta files.<\/p>\n

Grand Theft Auto V is expected to launch worldwide on 17 September 2013, for PS3 and Xbox 360. No word on a PC version was given.<\/p>\n
