{"id":52231,"date":"2013-03-25T11:41:08","date_gmt":"2013-03-25T09:41:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/?p=52231"},"modified":"2013-03-25T11:46:53","modified_gmt":"2013-03-25T09:46:53","slug":"battlefield-4-shanghai-setting-confirmed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/business\/52231-battlefield-4-shanghai-setting-confirmed","title":{"rendered":"Battlefield 4 Shanghai setting confirmed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Following on from the <a href=\"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/news\/52055-battlefield-4-details-emerge.html\" target=\"_blank\">rumours that a portion of Battlefield 4 will take place in China<\/a>, the city of Shanghai will appear to be one of the core locations in the game.<\/p>\n<p>A <a href=\"http:\/\/battlefield.com\/battlefield-4\" target=\"_blank\">Battlefield 4 teaser site<\/a> went up, showing artwork that showcases the familiar Shanghai skyline.<\/p>\n<p>This ties in with the rumours that the game will be set in China in 2020, with the US and China as the main rivalling infantry factions.<\/p>\n<p>Previous rumours suggest that, according to a forum member on the Chiphell forums, Battlefield 4 will feature the Frostbite 2.5 engine, which will result in even greater visuals and improved destruction using the Destruction 4.0 system.
