Every year thousands of game developers around the world select their nominees for the Game Developers Choice awards.<\/p>\n

The nominees for this year’s event have been announced<\/a>, with over 3,000 industry specialists putting forth their nominations.<\/p>\n

Uncharted 2 was nominated for 7 different awards, including Game of the Year, Best Game Design, Best Visual Art, Best Technology, Best Writing, Best Audio and best Innovation. The only awards it was not nominated for were category awards which it did not fall into such as Best Downloadable, Best Handheld and Best Debut.
Flower received an impressive 5 nominations, while Assassin’s Creed 2 received 4.<\/p>\n

The winners will be announced at the Game Developers Choice Awards show which takes place at the 2010 Game Developers Conference in San Francisco on March 11.<\/p>\n
