The War Z has been taken offline following a security breach which saw hackers steal e-mail addresses and passwords.<\/p>\n

The War Z publisher, OP Productions LLC, confirmed that the game\u2019s database had been breached and accessed by unknown users.<\/p>\n

While the hackers got hold of e-mails, IP addresses and other details, vital billing and payment information was not accessed.<\/p>\n

\u201cAll payments are made through a third party and not through our system. Therefore there was absolutely no exposure of your payment or billing information of any kind,\u201d said the publisher in a statement.<\/p>\n

The War Z has already seen its fair share of controversy<\/a>, as it was pulled from Steam for excessive problems found in the game.<\/p>\n
