<\/a><\/p>\nDead Island: Riptide<\/h3>\n
Dead Island: Riptide will drop in April and will take gamers back to the blood-soaked sand on the island of Palanai in the Banoi archipelago.<\/p>\n
The sequel, which will also be developed by Techland, promises to add a significant amount of content over its predecessor.<\/p>\n
The game features the same protagonists from the original (and you\u2019ll be able to import your characters if you\u2019ve played it), as well as an as yet unidentified fifth person. And everything is about to go from really, really, really bad to so much worse \u2013 the whole place has been hit by a monsoon, and everything is now covered in zombies and water. Worst holiday ever.<\/p>\n

The Grinder<\/h3>\n
The Grinder is a zombie shooter for Wii, Xbox 360 and PS3, however, it\u2019s a FPS on the Wii U, and a top-down shooter on the other two consoles.<\/p>\n
The game is developed by High Voltage Studios, who were behind impressive The Conduit on Wii.<\/p>\n
The game takes a Left 4 Dead-esque spin, pitting multiple players against vampires, werewolves and, of course, zombies.<\/p>\n
The sad thing about the game is that High Voltage underwent some layoffs and the current status of The Grinder is unknown.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The Last of Us<\/h3>\n
While called the \u201chush\u201d, The Last of Us\u2019 creepy enemies are essentially zombies.<\/p>\n
The world of The Last of Us sees a viral outbreak that has caused modern society to be an overgrown mess, as nature reclaims the land and civilisation has fallen to desperation. Players will take on the role of Joel, as he has to escort a young girl named Ellie to a particular quarantined zone.<\/p>\n
Both characters will come into play, allowing Joel to command and assist Ellie in helping the two on their journey.<\/p>\n
Developed by Naughty Dog (Uncharted series), The Last of Us also features gorgeous visuals \u2013 something that the studio is known for. Visceral and brutal combat is on offer to make the steel-stomached gamers cringe.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
DayZ (retail release)<\/h3>\n
While DayZ has been available online as a mod for ARMA II and playable for quite some time, a standalone retail form will soon shamble onto store shelves.<\/p>\n
While there will be less weapons on release, there will be weekly downloadable content.<\/p>\n
A new loot spawn system will also generate loot in some interesting nooks and crannies, and requires players to really look and traverse around to gather the resources they need.<\/p>\n
There are also new locations in the game, particularly an island that featured in ARMA II, which was highly requested by the community.<\/p>\n
The standalone version is still in early development stages and currently has no release date.<\/p>\n
