{"id":5254,"date":"2010-01-26T11:09:00","date_gmt":"2010-01-26T09:09:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"-0001-11-29T22:00:00","slug":"left-4-dead-2-update-will-feature-more-bots","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/business\/5254-left-4-dead-2-update-will-feature-more-bots","title":{"rendered":"Left 4 Dead 2 update will feature more bots"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Developer Valve yesterday<a href=\"http:\/\/www.l4d.com\/blog\/post.php?id=3362\" target=\"_blank\"> outlined f<\/a>urther details for a new Left 4 Dead 2 update which is due to be released for PC and Xbox 360.<\/p>\n<p>Described as &ldquo;a few weeks out&rdquo; in a recent blog post the changes will include the addition of computer controlled bots for the Infected in Versus mode intended to help the team &ldquo;when they are down a man or two&rdquo; and should make the gameplay &ldquo;a bit more fun.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;We&#8217;ve also been experimenting with a solution for auto-spawning in Versus finales&rdquo; revealed Valve, this might include removing auto spawn altogether. Before this can happen however the team must measure how this will affect the gameplay balance &ndash; which currently gives the survivors a 34.56% chance of finishing the finale.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Remove the Concert Finale, and we see the average drop to 29.61%.
