The Cape Town-based studio behind the local comic, The Lil\u2019 Five, have confirmed that they will not be a part of the much talked-about event.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey Did This! Illustration & Design will not be attending the Comic Con SA,\u201d said company co-founder Andrew Cramer.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Comic Con event seems to have been organized haphazardly and we are not happy with the public being charged so excessively when they can get our book, The Lil’ Five and the Secret of the Black Cave, the following week at a no-charge event that promotes comics and SA comic creators,\u201d added Cramer.<\/p>\n
Since its announcement, the Comic Con SA event has generated some critisicm and discussion on MyGaming, along with other local publications.<\/p>\n
