A fresh patch for first person tactical shooter Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising has been released for PC and is now available in a 245MB download.<\/p>\n
The patch also bundles the ‘Overwatch’ downloadable package – which initially cost $5 on Xbox 360 in December, free of charge. This will add two new multiplayer modes and two Fireteam engagements.<\/p>\n
Patch 1.02 chiefly targets problems with bullet hit detection, stability, “speed hacks,” vehicle input lag and crashes.<\/p>\n
Some of the key points in the changelog include:<\/p>\n
– Support added for 2 new PvP game modes included in DLC Pack 2<\/p>\n
– The host is now able to press “Start” button to ready up and begin the 10 second countdown into game irrespective of whether all players are ready or not.<\/p>\n
– Improved multiplayer stability.<\/p>\n
– Online synchronisation has been improved mitigating various issues such as shots fired not being registered and missing animations<\/p>\n
– Improved bullet hit detection on clients<\/p>\n
– Medics no longer become unable to move if the player they are trying to heal attempts to heal themselves at the same time.<\/p>\n
– The corpse looting inventory now appears appropriately when characters are killed<\/p>\n
– The corpse looting inventory updates appropriately when swapping weapons.<\/p>\n
– Tweaks and amends to enemy and friendly AI.<\/p>\n
– The damaged vehicle icon no longer becomes stuck on screen if the player is spawned into a vehicle just as it becomes critically damaged.<\/p>\n
– Fly in camera at the start of the Lumber Yard Infiltration mission now behaves appropriately<\/p>\n
– alt tabbing when in the lobby no longer causes graphical corruption on ground texture<\/p>\n
– Speed hack checking has been activated to block 3rd party speed hacks during online games.<\/p>\n
